No prior experience is required for the Foundation level. However, a basic understanding of enterprise architecture is helpful for the Practitioner level.No prior experience is required for the Foundation level.

The Foundation exam is 60 minutes, and the Practitioner exam is 90 minutes.

What is the format of the TOGAF® EA Foundation exam?
The Foundation exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice exam with 40 questions. You need a score of 60% (24 correct answers) to pass.
What is the format of the TOGAF® EA Practitioner exam?
The Practitioner exam is an open-book, scenario-based, multiple-choice exam with 8 complex questions. You need a score of 60% (24 out of 40 points) to pass.
What is the "Combined EA Certification exam"?
It is one exam session with two parts, Foundation and then immediately followed by Practitioner. Both parts must be passed to earn the TOGAF® EA Practitioner Certification.
